why we are
Boë Beauté was founded with a simple purpose; creating clean, high-quality self-tanning skincare, that creates a natural, healthy glow and a strong skin – in one easy step. Lars, our founder’s wife suffers from Rosacea, is allergic to (natural & chemical) fragrances, is Multi Chemical Sensitive (MCS), and has a very sensitive skin. Through Louise, his wife’s, early career as a model, she was exposed to excessive fragrances and chemicals through the har and skin products she was required to wear, eventually causing the intolerance. She has always been passionate about leading a healthy life – even before her intolerances. Her experiences increased her focus on surrounding herself and their children, where two of them also suffers from allergies and rosacea, with fragrance free, natural products in their home – for their kids as well as in her beauty routine. She wanted to make sure the ingredients surrounding them were good and pure, in food and beverages, as well as in creams, shampoos, soaps, clothing, and so forth.
